Why the conversion rates are escalated by 3%?
The exchange rates are the ones fetched from Currency Layer API.
Our app adds 3% markup to cover the currency conversion charges. Out of which 2% is charged by payment gateway (Stripe/PayPal) and 1% by MLVeda. Even if customer toggles currency, the difference in exchange rates are hardly noticeable as when they pay in Store currency, the bank actually charges them a much higher conversion rate than 3% on paying in a foreign currency.
